Aga advise all customers to have their appliance serviced every year. Our staff have completed all necessary Aga and Rayburn courses and have the appropriate Range Cooker certification to work on these cookers.
A service costs £160 + VAT. We carry out the full approved Aga/Rayburn services which includes taking off the hot plate, checking that all the flues are clean and changing the thermocouple. Parts – including the thermocouple – are not included in the Aga service price.
If something has gone wrong with the cooker and we need to fix it, then we charge at our hourly rate of £85 + VAT/hour. Our Aga service engineers will explain all this when they visit.
Please note that in order to work on an Aga you must turn off your cooker 24 hours in advance in order for it to have cooled down enough to work on. Continue reading below for advice on how to do this.
